Why the Wait? The Art & Craft Behind Your Custom Pet Portrait Jewelry by Everlyee Jewelry

You’ve just uploaded the cutest photo of your furry friends and you can’t wait to see how the necklace turns out. When you see a production of 7 to 9 business days, it might feel like a long wait.

But here is the truth: We don’t just print your photo onto a piece of metal.

At Everlyee Jewelry, we are creating a one-of-a-kind piece of art that features your pet. To ensure the charm captures the spirit of your furry friends and lasts for years, we refuse to rush the process.

Here is exactly what your order going through within the 7 to 9 production days, and why the wait is worth it.

The 6 Steps to Perfection

Every piece of custom pet portrait jewelry goes through a meticulous, multi-step crafting process

1.Designing and Hand-Drawing the Portrait

The process begins the moment we receive your order and photo. Our artist will hand-trace your photo and draw the portrait, capturing the unique features of your furry friends. We hand-draw every line to ensure all the details translates perfection into the metal. This isn’t just a portrait; it is your pet.

2.The Cutout

Once the design is finalized, we prepare to cut the specific shape of your pet’s outline out of the metal. This requires advanced cutting technology to ensure the edges are smooth and the silhouette is clear.

3.Precision Alignment and Engraving

This is the most technically difficult part of the process. We must ensure the laser engraving is perfectly aligned with the physical cutout.

If the alignment is off by even one millimeter, the eyes won’t match the face shape, or the head will look disproportionate. We take extra time to calibrate the laser and ensure the cutout is in the exact right spot. Once aligned, we deep-engrave the details, bringing your pet’s face to life with texture and depth.

4. Pre-Plating Polish (The Crucial Step)

This is a step many other shops skip. Before the jewelry is plated, we perform a thorough polish on the raw metal. By smoothing out the surface, we ensure the plating bonds securely to the metal. This creates a smoother finish and ensures the plating lasts much longer.

5.Plating and Coating

After the physical cutout, engraving and polishing are done, the piece with goes through a professional plating and coating process. This step is important to prevent tarnishing.

6.The Final Polish

After plating, it moves to the polishing section. We polish the piece to give it a mirror-like shine.

Quality Cannot Be Rushed

The 7 to 9 business days window allows us to catch errors, perfect the alignment and make sure the coating is properly applied. By waiting just a little over a week, you are receiving a piece of necklace/bracelet that is:

  • Unique: No two pieces are ever the same.
  • Durable: Built to withstand daily wear.

We promise that when you open the box and see your pet’s face, you will agree: It was absolutely worth the wait.
